Ohh - a scary title - in the ring a tombstone - a handler with a very pale face and very black eyes (it was supposed to be so :-))

It was a nice performance - precise moves and tricks and all in good accordance with the music.

I liked when the dog ran backwards both on all 4 and on its backlegs.

All in one it was a scary performance - in a positive meaning :-) and true to the theme from the music.

FS Li Stenberg - Sweden - Australian Kelpie - Roscanaille's Real Star

Li and Grynet performed a very fast paced program to "Meet the Flintstones" by B52s. They had wonderfully fluent motions and made a lot of moves independently of eachother. Grynet makes a very cute "shame" and incredibly fast weaving and spinning.

FS Penny Draper - Great Britain - Tervuer - Delark Gavotteen

Film music from The Man in the Iron Mask

Another rare breed in competitions, which always is nice to see.

Something apparently took the dogs attention, but the handler worked hard through the performance getting the dogs attention, and they made a lot of nice tricks and turns.

It was good work from handler and dog - and nice to see that the handler didn't loose her patience.

FS Rose Charbonnier - France - Groenendal - Tjop

Rose and her Groenendal performed to "Raca Negra" by Margareth Menezes, a fast paced, rhytmic piece of music. They did the cool new "arrow" position where the dog has its nose at the handlers side and tail straight out (or vice versa) which I had never seen live before yesterday. They also made a great zig-zag where both handler and dog were backing up and a really cute coordinated bow with the dog beneath the handlers leg.

Music: "Raider's Marsch" from Indiana Jones

Personnally I am a great fan of Indiana Jones, so I am always very excited to see any act to the music from the movies.

It was a great act with lots of tricks and turns - and all exactly at the same time. It was a nice trick when both handler and dog lokes in distance turning their heads from side to side.

The top in the performance for me whas when they sneaked towards the treasurebox, looking from side to side until the finally got the treasure - and then proudly presented it to us walking round the ring. I must admit - I had a little tear in my eye :-)

FS Birgit Gragobern - Austria - Border Collie - Australis Arkansas Dream

Birgit and her Border Collie performed to "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse. Birgit did a great job staying in character and had a wonderful contact with her dog :) They had a rather fast paced program with a lot of movment and directions changes. Some of their cool tricks was limping, paw-crossing (in time with the music and handler) and the dog "drinking" from a bottle.

(Birgit is the entire Austrian Team and competes both HTM and FS)

FS Olga Kuzina - Russia - Labrador Retriver - Tutta Larson

The music is from "Jeeves and Wooster"

In this performance we saw, that dogdancing is a sport for many different breeds although you rarely see a Labrador Retriever, but the dog certainly likes this sport. I saw wagging tail and a big smile on the dogs face during the performance.

I think the music was a good choice for a dog from a not so light a breed - the performance and tricks were all the time in good accordance with the rhytm in the music.

I liked it in the ending, where dog and handler lifted their legs at the same time to the same side.
