Accomodation

If you are travelling to The World Championships and looking for accomodation not too far from the venue, then have a look at Sejs Bakker Camping. It is a Campingsite about 35 minutes drive from Messecenter Herning and they have both cabins and caravans for rent and allow dogs.
The owners are very friendly and happy to help you with your bookings. Just contact them on e-mail mail@sejs-bakker-camping.dk

It looks like Skyttehusets Camping have available cabins too and so does seacamp.dk, but Seacamp are closed until 18th January 2010.

The World Championships are held during the Danish Summer Holiday and in connection with the World Dog Show. Lots of people are travelling to Herning with dogs and they all need a bed to sleep in. Don't wait too long to book your accomodation!

Will Sweden Be The First?

Will Sweden be the first country to announce their freestyle team for the World Championships 2010???

They have chosen 5 dogs and handlers, who are now in the run for the 3 spots on the team and 1 spot as reserve. The 5 handlers and dogs are Lina Pettersson with Hungarian Pumi Zing (Individual Silver Medal Winners at the Nordic Championships 2009), Agnes Mohlin with Border Collie Pelle, Linda Laikre with DK/S Gaardhund Holly, Li Stenberg with Australian Kelpie Grynet and Susanne Jaczewski with Labrador Ret. Oscar.

Lina, Linda, Li and Agnes were all on the team that won the Gold Medal at the Nordic Championship for Teams in November 2009.

Stig Rex Andersen will produce and sell DVDs from the World Championships. They will be available from http://www.abertil.dk/.
Participants can order and pay for the DVDs at the competition.
