DVDs and Photo CDs
No doubt the FCI HTM & Freestyle Championships will be a memorable event and to make sure you get to keep all the happy memories, DVDs and Photo CDs will be available to order in Herning or on-line.
DVDs
Stig Rex Andersen from Abertil DVDs will produce DVDs with all routines from the competition and as many of the demonstration rounds as possible. They can be ordered and paid for at the World Championship or they can be ordered from Abertil's website later.
To order your DVDs at the World Championship, please hand in the order form including payment to Stig Rex Andersen, Helle Warming Andersen or Show Manager Helle Ferrold in an envelope with the exact amount of money (Danish Kroner or Euros) included.
You can also order the DVDs online at Abertil's website after the competition. Payment must then be trasnfered through your bank. Contact Stig Rex Anderesen on sa@abertil.dk for further information.
Prices:
DVDs from 1 day: 150 Danish Kroner or 20 Euros.
DVDs from all 3 days: 350 Danish Kroner or 50 Euros.

PHOTO CDs
ALLAN BROWN PHOTOGRAPHY will produce CDs with photogaphs from all routines from the competition and as many of the demonstration rounds as possible. They can be ordered and paid for at the World Championship or they can be ordered by e-mail up to one month after the competition.
To order your CDs of photographs at the World Championship, please hand in the order form including payment to Allan Brown, Show Manager Helle Ferrold or Karen Sykes in an envelope with the exact amount of money (Danish Kroner or Euros) included.
You can also order the CDs up to 1 month after the competition by sending an e-mail to Allan Brown. Payment must then be trasnfered through your bank. Contact Allan Brown for further information.
If you order your CDs prior to your performance, Allan Brown will make sure to get more photographs from your routine for the CD.

Questions regarding HTM
What is considered to be the main heelwork moves?
A:
The following positions are considered to be heelwork in HTM:
Heelwork on left side of the handler and on right side of the handler.
Heelwork on left and right side of the handler facing opposite the handler.
The dog between the handler’s legs with both shoulders parallel to the handler’s legs.
In front of, with his side to the handler facing both directions.
Behind, with his side to the handler facing both directions.
These positions can be kept in all directions and paces. It is heelwork if the dog and handler team are moving sideways or backwards as long as the dog is in a heelwork position.

Is it better to have more than 75% heelwork in the competition or is it better to include 25% of interesting freestyle?
A:
No – it is not better or worse to have more than 75% heelwork - it depends on the music and what the music asks for.

Team GB's Cabaret Night
The Kennel Club selected six handlers to compete in the inaugural Heelwork to Music (HTM) World Championships in Denmark June 2010.
From this announcement of the Team, consisting of Gina Pink, Kath Hardman, Jenny Deakin, Carole Dodson, Penny Draper and Michelle Dodson, they set about planning their fundraising in order to be able to get a HTM Team GB uniform, get to and from Denmark by Ferry and accommodation.
Their main fundraising event, a One Night Only Cabaret Night with HTM Team GB and Special guest Mary Ray, took place on Tuesday 27th April 2010 at The Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. Leamington Dog Training Club donated the cost of the building for the evening in order for the fabulous venue to be used for this event.
The Team performed their current routines, some of which shall be performed at the World Championships in June. Also other favourite routines were performed by Team members including Michelle Dodson’s toe tapping “’Ave another cup of tea” freestyle routine and Kath Hardman’s 2008 Crufts winning “If I only have a brain” freestyle routine; highly entertaining routines. Some of the team also displayed how some of the behaviours are trained that their dogs love doing.
Mary Ray joined the HTM Team GB for the event and showed us all again why she is so successful in many disciplines of dog sports. Mary worked her Border Collie Levi, Sheltie Ozzy and adorable Chihuahua Chico. Mary, Levi and Ozzy also performed their ever popular DFS Crufts Best in Show routine.
There was also some busking to music – where an audience member selected a track, which the team where unaware of, and the team members performed to this music! Highlight of this was Mary Ray and Levi’s super energetic Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious routine, just brilliant!
There was a large raffle, all prizes had been donated, including very generous vouchers from Pets at Home. In addition to this the Team put on an auction, again from very generous gifts, including one to one lessons with top handlers in the sport of HTM, a handmade Suffolk quilt, a circa 1920s silk top hat and much more.
The event was well attended and has raised good funds to get the Team well on their way to Denmark at the end of June. The Team’s fundraising events, diary of their journey and contact details can be found on http://teamgbhtm.blogspot.com/

Last Chance to Buy Guest Dog Tickets Online!
Please remember that the entries for the World Dog Show close on Wednesday the 5th of May at 8 am (Danish time).
World Championship participants will recieve a 'handler/dog ticket' prior to the competition. That will give them free entrance to the show all 4 days, but if anyone wants to bring an extra dog then the cheapest way to get it in, is to enter it as a guest dog.
The price is 30 Euros for all 4 days and it can be done online here!
Extra handlers/helpers can buy tickets at the entrance for 10 Euros a day or 34 Euros for all 4 days, but guest dogs are of course allowed to bring their owners, so a 'guest dog ticket' will also give an extra handler/helper entry to the show. If you know you will bring a helper all 4 days, you can buy a 'guest dog ticket' for him/her (even if he/she is not bringing a dog). If you are only coming 3 days, it will cost the same whether you buy tickets at the entrance or buy a 'guest dog ticket' online in advance.
