Running Orders

Team Competitions Friday and Saturday:
The running order within your team must be handed in to the Show Manager in writing at the briefing. It is for the individual team to decide in which order team members want to compete. The teams’ running order will be decided by a random draw.

All handlers running first for their country will compete in the drawn order, and then all handlers running second for their country will compete in the drawn order and finally all handlers running third for their country.

Example:
Country A is represented by Hans, Olga and Simon
Country B is represented by Martin
Country C is represented by Alice, John and Sofia
Country D is represented by Marcus, Kate and Jill

Country A meets for a team meeting to discuss the matter. They decide that their running order within the team should be: Olga first, then Hans and Simon last.

Country B is only represented by one handler/dog.

In Country C it is the team manager, who decides on the running order within the team. She evaluates the team members' strengths and weaknesses and decides that the best running order will be John first, then Alice and finally Sofia.

Country D can't get to an agreement, but a random draw within the team puts Jill first, Marcus second and Kate third.

At the World Championship Team Briefing Country A, C and D all hand in a piece of paper with their team's running order. Country B hands in a note saying that they only have one dog and handler team.

Then the 4 countries' team managers are called forward to draw their country's running order. Country A draws second, Country D draws first, Country B draws third and Country C draws fourth.
The running order will then be:
  1. White Dog
  2. Jill, Country D
  3. Olga, Country A
  4. Martin, Country B
  5. John, Country C
  6. Marcus, Country D
  7. Hans, Country A
  8. Alice, Country C
  9. Kate, Country D
  10. Simon, Country A
  11. Sofia, Country C
Individual Final Sunday:
The running order will be decided by a random draw, which will take place immediately after the competitions on Friday and Saturday at the prize-giving presentation.
